Now just imagine you are sitting beside someone special, and they are writing something up in their book or notes, and you observe it and do the analysis just in your mind, and later you explain it to them, and they get impressed by your skill and you either get their number or a new date! Well today I am going to teach you concepts about that skill
Today’s Agenda:
1] Firstly, what is graphology? How it works?
2] What are two different categories of doing analysis?
3] Concepts:
1. Zones
2. Margins
3. Spacing
4, Size
5. Slant
6. Pressure
7. Baselines
8. Speed
4] Different ways of learning Graphology along with links to resources!
1] Firstly, what is graphology? How it works?
You may have knowledge about body language as why we behave in certain way, similarly have you ever wondered why we write the way we write? Why our handwriting looks so neat at the start of exam and so messy in the last hour of exam? There is a reason that happens
In simple words, Graphology is the art or unique skill of revealing someone’s whole personality by just looking at their handwriting, signature.
How it works?
We Daily think a lot of thoughts, feel the lot of emotions. Now we cannot share every feeling, emotions with others right as some are too personal right?
And if not shared, such feelings can lead to depression, overthinking. So an outlet is needed for brain in order to remove those emotions, feelings, thoughts
Our Brain finds that outlet through our handwriting. Every feeling, emotions is then transported from brain to your handwriting. This is the reason we are always told to write down our emotions, dump our ideas into paper, and we write messy at last hour of exam as our mind is running faster during that time while at start it’s clear henceforth we write clear (Unless you saw the question paper, and you don’t know any answers)
And all the science of studying why we have written like that? In this way? It is known as Graphology
2] What are two different categories of doing analysis?
Now there are two sub categories in graphology:
1} Handwriting Analysis
Here we use different handwriting elements to do analysis, it helps for finding real personality
2} Signature Analysis
While here, we use signature elements to find public personality or the way a writer wants others to see him/her as
3] Some core concepts to get started with:
Start taking notes if you haven’t
1} Zones:
All the letters fall under particular zone, it is like the skeleton of graphology
Letter f is the only letter which falls under all zones
2} Margins
On which side your handwriting is going also reveals many things about you!
There are more than 10 different types of margins that are found
3} Spacing
A spacing between words can help you know how much distance you keep between yourself and others. More the spacing more the distance you keep and vice versa for less distance
And spacing between letters in words can help you know how much cautious, alert are you about self.
Spacing between lines is also there
Each spacing type have more subtypes
4} Size
You can literally find if someone is an introvert or extrovert by looking at the size of handwriting.
It is one of the easiest trait or concept
Find about small, medium size here
5} Slants
Are you an emotional person or a logical person? You can find just that with the help of slants. You can know if someone hides their feelings, emotions or just show too much of it
Many artists, actors, scientists are emotional in nature, their handwriting goes in rightward direction. These helps actors, actresses to act in a real manner
Here too there are many subtypes of each slant, each tilting degree of your handwriting says something new
6} Pressure
Well, how much energetic are you? Do you show empathy for people? How much committed or lazy are you?
Answer to all above questions can be found out in this, how much pressure you put while writing can say a lot of your energy levels
There are mainly two important types: High and Low and each of these type have more subtypes
7} Baselines
So, are you feeling stress about something? Sad, depressed then your handwriting may be going down yet if you are feeling high, optimistic then you may be having upward handwriting.
Whenever we feel happy, we look up, right? While whenever we feel sad we tend to look down. Similar logic is applied here
There are many types of baselines out of which upward, downward, straight and uneven are common ones
8} Speed
And yes finally the speed, as we studied earlier with exam example, fast mind speed and slow mind slow speed, simple, average speed calm mind
